Be Body Beautiful with Wacoal
“Mom, why are your boobs sad?” That was what my 5-year old daughter, Noelle, asked me one night after seeing me stepped out of the shower. At first, I laughed so hard at her curiosity. Then, I stopped laughing and wondered what she meant by “sad”. Did I hear it right? Sad or Sag? Oh well, it didn't matter, really. I guess, they mean the same thing anyway when referring to breasts. I was just in denial.
I have three wonderful girls and I want them to be proud of me. I am conscious of the fact that they look up to me and on my part, I hope I can inspire them to be the best that they can be, in every aspect of their lives. I want them to be confident and positive all the time. And when they see those qualities in me, it is likely that my daughters will have these same qualities.
And, yes, before I even forget...I wanna have "happy" boobs, again :-)

My Sexy Revolution Starts NOW
Day 2 was no different. My cravings even grew stronger but since I was determined to lose some belly fats and stop my sweet-cravings for a while, I persevered. On Day 3, my cravings were slowly fading. My grumpy mood was also no more. Days 4-7, likewise, weren't smooth-sailing but nevertheless, I completed the 7-day ritual at first try!
And just like all endeavors, the first time was always the hardest. Not only was it my first time to undergo a detox diet, it was also the first time ever that I subjected my body to a diet program and a strict one at that. Kudos to me!

Summer is definitely more fun with NIVEA SUN! My top summer wonder is Pagudpud beach.
What I love most about Pagudpud beach is the fact that here, you get to really see, experience and appreciate the beauty of nature. I remember a moment during our stay in a resort in Pagudpud, I was sitting on a bench and I felt the serenity of the place. It was as if my soul was one with nature. I loved that feeling! This is what I wrote in my mini notebook about that particular experience where I was lounging on a cozy bench underneath some short coconut trees ---
"I have the most beautiful view of the endless sea -- SPECTACULAR! The sound of waves lapping on the shore combined with chirping of the birds...they are indeed music to my ears. This is life! I'm in a very relaxed and perfect mood just like the sea -- calm and perfect.
Everything here is simple. This is just a reminder that life isn't at all complicated. Thank You, God, for this feeling of serenity and peace. Thank You, God, for this vacation."
Never have I seen such crystal clear blue waters like Pagudpud's. It was stunning.
Never have I seen such breath-taking sunset as when I viewed it along the shores of Pagudpud beach. It was glorious.
Traveling to Pagudpud gives life to the famous quote that says, “It’s the journey, not the destination that counts.”
We surely enjoyed the destination as much our journey to that destination. The road may be too long but in the end... the journey is the destination.

Greatness Starts @Home

I have always believed in its power. I have always been awed by its results when uttered sincerely. I have always believed that it is our greatest weapon…bar none. Yes, it can move mountains! I’m talking about PRAYER.
Our daughters (ages 12, 5, 2) know how to pray. In their own simple words, they will not hesitate to pray when asked. In our home, prayer is what fuels our faith and deep relationship with God. It is our oil of greatness in fulfilling God’s purpose in our lives.
I remember the very first prayer each of our daughters said. They were neither made of impressive words nor taught and memorized from school, but a simple bedtime conversation with God.
I remember my eldest told me about how she received compliments from their religion teacher because of the prayer she said during one of their classes. And from that moment on, she would oftentimes be asked to lead the prayer. I was elated!
I remember an instance when our 5-year old led the prayer before meal time. While her hands were clasped in prayer and eyes closed, she asked God to bless our food which she enumerated one-by-one – “Bless our rice, liempo and vegetables.” She then continued to thank God and went on...and on...and on...with her prayer until our eyes turned white because we were already so hungry, hahaha! Nevertheless, I was impressed!
I remember when our 2-year old joined us in prayer one Sunday morning. Hand-in-hand we took turns praying and when it was her turn, she excitedly opened her mouth and whispered oh so softly, “Jishus… bess papa, bess mama, bess ate Ishi, bess ate Wowel, we wuv you. Disisis shhis name, amen.” I was amazed!
By teaching them to pray, I know I am preparing them for greatness because no less than the power of God is unleashed when we pray. It is like giving them a firm foundation to stand on when the world tries to knock them down. Prayer certainly makes our spirit indomitable.
For a mom like me, our child’s achievements and milestones no matter how trivial they may be, are worth celebrating. Who wouldn’t be a proud parent if their child is an Einstein in the making (okay make that Mark Zuckerberg or Steve Jobs?), or can rival the art of Leonardo da Vinci, or someone who can solve a rubix cube puzzle in less than a minute (wow!), or a bemedalled athlete at a very young age, or is being groomed to be the next greatest performer the world has ever known? I know, I would.
But more than achieving these great feats, my heart’s desire is for our daughters to become what God wants them to be – that to me is true greatness. This is the very reason hubby and I want them to be in touch with God daily through prayer even at a very young age. We want prayer to become very much part of their lives, as much as it has been to me and hubby.
I firmly believe that it is only in humility, when we admit to ourselves and realize that we need God and that apart from Him we are nothing, that we are in our greatest element. Only then can we achieve moments of greatness. We don’t have to make a big splash in order to be regarded as great. We can be great in little things – being a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear to a troubled friend, making a person smile, opening a door for someone – the list can go on and on. These are the little things which accumulate into true greatness.
“One kernel is felt in a hogshead; one drop of water helps to swell the ocean; a spark of fire helps to give light to the world. None are too small, too feeble, too poor to be of service. Think of this and act.” Hannah More

To the One I love the most
Happy birthday to the One I love the most, my Lord, Savior and King - Jesus. Thank You for EVERYTHING. I have a wish on Your birthday – that Your will in our lives will always prevail. We love You very much.
As I write this piece, I am singing in my head a song so familiar to everyone. The same song I was humming a few nights ago just before His birthday. The same song hubby and I sang with tears in my eyes when we attended a worship service on His birthday. My soul was singing to Him.
Oh, holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error, pining
Till He appeared and the soul felt it's worth
A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn'
Fall on your knees, oh, hear the Angels' voices
Oh, night divine, oh, night when Christ was born
Oh, night divine, oh, night, oh night divine
